such an odd game, scoreline doesn’t reflect it at all

To be fair, Ole changed our shape about 10 minutes ago and Chelsea look lost up front. Playing tighter in midfield and closer between the lines.

I just don't understand what Chelsea's front line is doing.

I will say, if anyone plays lower league career mode on Fifa 19. SIGN DANIEL JAMES!! He's unbelievable. Absolute speed of him.

Wasn't expecting this scoreline at half-time.

Chelsea put on Kante only to switch tactics to tiny triangles on the wings what even was the point

The tactical change early in the second half won us this game. I commented in the 50th minute that we didn't change anything but fair play, Ole changed us during play. We sat tighter together, lessened the space between defence and midfield and pushed wider or attack. Chelsea looked a lot less threatening in attack and we could exploit the space behind their slow defence with our speed.

Less said about the first half the better.

Not good. Will be a lot of that type of scoreline this season, very naive to be counter attacked so much when you are away at a stadium you haven’t won at for 6 years.

Ye seemed to have a poor defence in pre season

I quietly thought to myself if we could keep you out we could get a scoreline like that. Thankfully we woke up in the second half.

So after the first round of matches my hot take is that I still have no faith that any other team will be able to compete with Liverpool and City. (not sure how much a hot take that is though)

He won us a few free kicks when on the ball and some great support runs in addition to the goal. His speed is gonna be a great asset.

  24. I wish we didn’t loan back Jack Clarke but I get it. He wouldn’t get much time this season. He looks like another great player from the championship.
