Oh, I was just saying that because we lost the domestic cup because they randomly took out the away goals advantage this season. In any other competition we would've advanced. Instead, the match went straight to penalties and we lost.

Now it's only fitting we lose CL on away goals. It's the Spurs way.

Is it any surprise a week after Madrid spent a lot of very public airtime complaining about VAR a completely valid goal against them was ruled out by it?

 

We need to switch formation. Sancho is doing whatever he wants down the right.

 

Should have been allowed but looks like Tadic(?) was offside and blocked Courtois, wouldn't have been ruled out without VAR though. Ironic I guess?

 

That trip on Sancho was so obvious, can't believe it was missed.

I love watching Dortmund, so much fun for a neutral. Hope they go as far as possible. No chance of it happening, but I'd love to see them win it all.

 

Also, is Witsel the signing of the season? I feel like having that player that is willing to do the dirty work and release the front 4 has changed them.

 

VAR could be a great tool if it would be used as intended. To overrule clear mistakes the ref makes or situations the refs does not see at all. A millimeter offside position is not a clear mistake.
It's so frustrating to see that such offside situations are often overruled and other, clear situations where the VAR should intervene are not reviewed at all.
