If that's true, I hope he goes to Spurs for that money. I thought anyway that United had bigger holes to fill than the second 10, but for that price I'm 100% fine missing out of him.

  2. Same report says Mbeumo leans toward United but Frank is basically in the process of convincing him. Which I don’t love tbh. Having to overpay AND convince the player. Not a great combo. I suppose his relationship with Frank makes it less concerning though.

Keith Andrews the new Brentford manager, apparently. HUGE dice roll. He's going to turn them into the closest side we've seen to Pulis' Stoke since Pulis' Stoke.

You have to imagine the promoted clubs are looking at Brentford being gutted and licking their lips at the thought of actually having a relegation fight. Particularly Leeds.

  6. I wonder if Bournemouth will have any starters left by August. It sucks for them.

Not going to worry to much sbout any Spurs + Mbeumo noise until Ornstein chimes in, could well just be Brentford posturing to pressure United.

Gyokeres to Juventus is being heavily rumoured.

  9. And we absolutely shouldn’t take less than that price.

I'm sure he played for North London Reds on PES.

Taremi is going to miss the World Cup, because he can’t fly out of Tehran to join back up with Inter.

Honestly, I did wonder if the US would even let him in to begin with.

There’s a Boca Juniors player that we initially denied entry to because he’s technically still serving an armed burglary charge that he didn’t end up doing jail time for. He suddenly had a visa a few hours later, so I suspect FIFA is paying particular attention to these situations as they pop up and that’s why they were buttering him up well before he was even confirmed president.

Considering Iran have qualified for the WC and they’re currently banned from entering the US, depending on some of these other likely to qualify teams… it’ll be a sad day for the sport.

And I say that because of it not being a celebration of the sport, obviously. Because… well, I didn’t vote for this shit but it’s obviously happening.

Taremi's one of the good guys, too. Blatantly rejected Everton (and Newcastle) despite the chance to triple his salary.

Not that I massively want to endorse it, but I'll be so bored I'll probably try to catch some of it - am I right that no TV channel in the UK bothered getting live broadcast rights for the CWC?

23 matches on Channel 5, pal. The rest are on DAZN. Now you know nobody gives a toss!

Channel 5, what a time to be alive. Genuinely don't think I've even acknowledged it's existence in about 20 years

  19. The US is hosting it and majority of the games are on DAZN. Which means ratings will be down just like ticket sales are down. They’ve handled the entire thing so poorly.

  20. That’s a good deal. He struggled at the start of his time at Spurs but I still think the potential is very high. And he seems genuinely happy at the club.

Excited that Tel is staying. Lot of potential, and Frank is excellent at talent development. Think he’ll turn out to be a great one.

    Sad :( :( :(

glad he is going somewhere where he can be valued and given an opportunity.

another example of bayerns inability to incorporate young talents into the first team since flick (and maybe a little bit of nagelsman) left

I didn’t think it’d happen so soon, was hoping he could split time with Kerkez next season and then leave on a free

  24. It’s infuriating that Liverpool replaces their two long-time great fullbacks so quickly. It took Spurs like 5+ years to replace Rose and Walker.

  25. Nico Williams to Barca is really picking up steam. I was wondering why they’d spend that much on a LW when they have Raphinha but apparently Raphinha would move to the 10 spot. What a ridiculous attack that would be.
