Tbf literally every team is dealing with this, and even in a normal season teams can rarely put out their full strength side.

The one I go to, for obvious reasons, is that Arsenal’s “Invincibles” first choice 11 that literally everyone knows actually only started two games together all season lol.

I think United’s treble season was the same. Maybe not to that extent but similar. Both Keane and Scholes missing the CL final.

  4. I know every team deals with injuries. Spurs have had worse luck in that area than majority of teams. Today we have 5 starters out. And that’s been the norm for two months. We played without a CB for a month. I disagree that “every team is dealing with this”.

  5. Tbf 3 of the players out today aren’t injured. Just away with their national team. But even so, we’ve had it bad.

Appreciate the mutual whinge fest here. I’ve been able to emotionally detach from this season well enough because of basically everything you’ve laid out here, but sometimes that passion and love you’ve got for the club comes rearing it’s ugly head and you’ve got to have a kick about.

At least the new head honchos seem hell bent on an actual full strip down and rebuild of the squad. Promising to hear that priorities seem set on massively reducing the wage bill by any means necessary and recouping whatever fees we can from selling off deadwood that should’ve been moved on ages ago.

  7. Porro is well on his way to being the best RB in the league. If he isn’t already.

Every team has injuries. It’s just more glaring for Spurs because our bench is so weak and small.

  9. Getting a point there is a positive I suppose. Thought we looked fine over defensively and held possession well. Just had trouble creating good chances. But that was expected.

It’s moreso because you follow them. Our bench was weak too with two of them just being back from injury today and three being youth or inexperienced in Pellistri. And that’s probably the strongest best we’ve have in months.

That’s fair. There’s just too much football happening that these players are playing and it’s causing a mass of injuries to everyone.

Has anyone had any experience with using companies to book tickets for European League games, like as a package?

I fancy trying to get to an Ajax game or some other nice European city for my birthday in a few months.

I think I just bought Barcelona-Celtic (2012, Barcelona) and Roma-Barcelona (2015, Rome) directly from the home team’s website when I was booking from the states. Forget entirely how I bought Barcelona-Getafe in 2019, but assuming it was also just directly online.

Obviously we all know the reasons for this (City making it intentionally difficult, there being ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN cases, etc), but it does look really bad.

not for European, but I did the World Cup travel package through a company and it made the entire experience so simple and seamless, albeit paying a slight premium comparatively.

Getting ahead of myself here. But I can’t actually believe we’re going to make a profit on him. Half expected him to be sold for €1m given how shitty we are at selling players

Hopefully we bounce back like Villa did. Their rise since their adversity is the model to follow imo.
