Those were probably the worst penalties I've ever seen from Lazio except Guendouzi which was class.

Bodo beat Celtic when Ange was in charge btw just to put the fear in the Spurs fans.

The final will obviously be Spurs vs United, but I hope it’s Bodo vs Athletic.

Partially because neither English club deserves to have their seasons bailed out like that, but also cause it would be so cool to have a final between a tiny team from the arctic circle and one who only choose players from one region in Spain.

 

I honestly think it could be that final and I hope it is.

Bodo having that 2nd leg at home is key. It might be the undoing of Bilbao though going to Old Trafford 2nd leg. Having watched them against Rangers, they really do not have anything upfront so will need space to get in behind wide. They've got a good enough defence that if they take a good lead to OT then they might be okay.

I’m pretty sure Bodo have a few starting players suspended next match because of yellow cards. With that match being at Spurs, we should be able to take a 2-3 goal cushion to Norway.

 

I see Cherki had a good game. I’d like Spurs to go for him this summer. Exactly what we needs in the attack.

 

They obviously did the right thing by not letting CL teams go down into the Europa, cause it makes that tournament feel like it’s own thing, but holy shit the quality has been so bad this year.

Even the ECL has three good teams in it, which is somehow more.

Tottenham - Bodo
Man United - Athletic

Betis - Fiorentina
Chelsea - Djurgarden

A lot of those are extremely well known names... and then Bodo/Djurgarden. Makes it hard to root against them in those two competitions. I suspect it could go straight La Liga in all three titles, though. The UCL final four are definitely the most equal in quality/the hardest road for Barcelona (as it should be in that particular tournament).

Personally would love Barcelona-Arsenal, Bodo-Athletic, Betis-Djurgarden as the finals.

You’ll get to the final for sure. This has to be the best chance Spurs have had to win a trophy since Levy sacked Mourinho before the League Cup final. Bodo are good at home, but you should absolutely put them away at yours.

I think Athletic are comfortably the best team left in it though.

 

And the final is in Athletic’s stadium. Not great. I feel confident getting there. Would feel more confident about winning it if we face United.

 

At the Boro - Plymouth game. Boro making very hard work of it, but just had a stonewall penalty not given.
