Getting a (at worst) third choice CB for (best case scenario) €10m plus some add ons in the future is unheard of these days.

Was listening to the Arsecast and they suggested January should be a free transfer and loan-only window, maybe with a cap of two moves per team. At first I wasn’t sure, but I think it might help to ensure smaller clubs can keep their best players for the full season, and rewards better squad planning.

 

Funny to me that Spurs finally have an active winter window and now an Arsenal pod says we should limit transfers in January.

I finally have to reckon with Salah and Son being away

 

I’m effectively playing with 10 for this week. Don’t wanna use my wild card to revamp my squad and then have the big players come back. It’s a delicate gamble.

 

Same. For some reason I thought holding Haaland this whole time was the right move, gambling on him being back sooner. The gamble hasn't paid off, and now I'm looking at playing 10 as an absolute best case. God dammit

 

I finally dumped Haaland two weeks ago, I think? Of course, can’t replace him with Salah or Son right now so I’ve got a decent level of cash saved up, haha.
