Rumours Chelsea are back in for Garnacho too. I wonder if United are waiting for that to progress before deciding between buy or loan, or even just having enough space to register the loan.

 

We can’t offer anything until one of Garnacho or Rashford goes. Maybe Malacia idk.

 

I’m feeling somewhat optimistic about this. I think it’s between Spurs and United. We seem better positioned to make it happen with whatever Bayern prefers. I suppose it’s a matter of convincing the player at this point.

But at some point, if he doesn’t want Spurs then I don’t want to see us try to force a move. Would rather move on and only bring in guys who actually want to be at Spurs.

 

Al-Nassr have cancelled their transfer of Boniface at the latest point, due to signing Duran.

Guy just lost out on like €150m. Ouch.

That’s a massive fee for him, but fair play to Spurs. They’re definitely not afraid to pay big fees between this and Solanke.

 

Hopefully he comes here. I wanted him back when the Kane deal was done. Really think he can turn into a star. It’s a hefty fee but he fits into the system well and is still young. Hope it works out.

I know he’s labeled as someone who can “play across the top” but I haven’t seen him as a RW too much. And that’s ideally where I’d want to see him play for us. At least initially.

Plettenberg reporting that Villa have submitted a bid for him now too. Arsenal and United have spoken to his agent but not made bids.

 

If Villa are bidding for him I think he’ll end up there.

 

Convenient that Villa have just come into a lot of money too. Can probably match or beat a bid from most other teams.
