Genuinely abysmal and reckless man management.

A sign he's feeling desperate for sure.

It's the injuries, I just double checked, it was either start him or start an academy young player. Stones is on the bench but from what I remember hearing is that he is not fully match fit and they also might have to use him in the DM spot

I actually hope he's a success cause I love players from obscure footballing nations/regions

I don't know how you play CB at this level without speaking any of the languages the players around you speak (French or English).

Then why not start the academy kid though? It's what every other club has to do. Shows an astonishing lack of faith in the youngsters, especially since academy players have often trained with the senior squad before. So strange.

I would agree with you, I am sure Pep will get asked about it after the match.

On the different end of the new signings, Marmoush has looked lively and active. Still wonder how its going to work with Haaland because they seemingly like to make similar runs though Marmoush seems more active in the buildup.

The one time Gvardiol looks like a CB, dude hits bangers from distance but can't finish that easy one.

He finally scored one! Had some beautiful chances but gets the cleanup goal.

Sanchez in absolutely no man's land there and such a tidy finish by Haaland.

Chelsea have so many keepers and they still end up with one doing boneheaded shit all the time.

Maresca's quotes to defend Sanchez in midweek becomes even funnier/more relevant.

Awesome debut by Marmoush, probably should have bagged a goal. Like his energy/workrate and assists well in buildup play.

I wonder if Chelsea would like Onana for 50m. Couldn’t be worse

Sorry Kovačić only Rodri can get away with that foul and not have it called/carded.

Still don’t think 3-1 at 87 minutes is a good enough lead for this City team.

I have to say I am very excited for KDB and Marmoush to play together. Marmoush loves making deep runs and KDB loves playing balls to those type of runs.

Be twice the ocean. Be twice the land.

I know Pep probably hates it but City looked very scary going direct lol

After having some time to chew it over, I thought Everton did well resisting Brighton today at their ground, particularly with a lad from KFC upfront for most of the game. If DCL is out long term, we desperately need a new CF.
