Genuinely one of the worst decisions of all time. Won't help today, but that is 100% getting overturned on appeal.

 

Brought in Isak and Kluivert this week with my wild card. Nice.

 

Up there with Bruno vs Spurs. It will get rescinded.

I wonder if Oliver just didn’t see where the contact was actually made and guessed. He doesn’t even flinch before taking out the red

 

If something clearly wrong happens in the first half and the league would rescind it anyway, they should just rescind it at halftime. There’s already a VAR trailer etc set up for it. It’s not like it’s a time consuming process to make a decision on. Only way it gets messy is if subs are made (like a keeper).

 

Thing is, this is why there is an issue with the implementation of VAR. A clear incorrect decision, even if just an honest mistake. How is the VAR not intervening there to overrule the decision? Or force a review by the ref? Makes a mockery of the whole thing.

 

Michael Oliver is the only ref I think genuinely hates us.

Sent off Martinelli with two yellows at the same time. Sent off Trossard vs City for kicking the ball away half a second after the whistle went. Now that.

And yet refused to send off Kovacic against us and later claimed he didn’t want to “ruin the game” but knew it should really be a red.

 

Ndiaye just got a yellow for doing a seagull celebration fucking hell refs really do get worse every week. Makes it so hard to actually enjoy the game

It was a great celebration. I wish there were no cards for celebrations I would like way more variety than knee slides

I was having a lovely day up until now. Went on a big walk with my girlfriend over the hills behind my house to see some cows chilling in the fields, and then had two beautiful pints of guiness at my local, just to come home and stress watch Arsenal for two hours to ruin my day.

If I am not mistaken some of it was driven by injuries but yeah not the smartest thing to do.
