where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

This is the least amount of football I’ve watched since getting into the club side of things. Last year was down for watching other clubs and this years even watching City has gone down.

Celtic transfer window has been extremely strange. Kyogo away to Rennes and we're getting Jota back. We definitely need a striker and have been endlessly linked to a guy called Kvitsgaarden.

At the start of next season we'll have Tierney and Jota back, two players sold for £50m, back for like £8m :crylaugh:Hopefully we can get a decent Champions League play-off.

Kyogo to Rennes is an odd one. Has he been disappointing this season? I thought Celtic would try hold on to him until the summer

Sadly, Tierney will play a maximum of 10 games a season between tearing his hamstrings to pieces.

Shame, as our fans love his attitude and that he offers something different to our other LBs. But the move is good for everyone I think.

There were rumours in the summer that he was going to leave. He actually moved agents in the summer and then that Man City link came around. Atlanta Utd were heavily linked with him too and seemingly had a bid rejected in summer. Rodgers said he wanted to leave so it’s been a matter of when I suppose.

He has been disappointing. We’ve excelled as a team because of the goals spread around the team. Kyogo is the clearly better striker but his goal conversion is well down and to get £10m for a guy who just turned 30 is well within our model. Idah has been terrible though so we definitely need another striker.

yeah we’d never have a chance to get him if he didn’t have an emotional attachment there. I am curious though if we’ll get him now because you have been using him off the bench a lot and Zinchenko is rumoured to go?

we probably caused those problems to tierney overplaying him so we will need to manage him but its a risk we have to take to improve LB

Be twice the ocean. Be twice the land.

The long term strategy for sure is Lewis-Skelly and Califiori at lb with Timber as a rotational option. Tierney deserves to go where he's playing much more. He's brilliant.

Ah that’s a shame that Idah has been bad. Was hoping he’d kick on

Seeing all these “Anthony is worst signing in PL history” headlines has made me wonder if there’s anyone who comes even close.

Lukaku for Chelsea the second time had to be up there. Wasn’t it like £90m and he didn’t even last for a year.

Lukaku. The Leeds player they spent 50m on for one half of football. Ricky Alvarez to Sunderland. Only like 20m but they had to pay that when they were in League 1. Those 4 are all comparable in different ways.

Pepe and Kepa are probably up there?

Wesley Fofana will be up there if he doesn't pull his finger once (if) he gets fit. That Alexis for Mkhitaryan + cash was pretty laughable, too.

Ndombele has to be up there.

I know it’s not PL history, but Hazard to Madrid, Felix to Atleti, and Dembele to Barcelona are probably the benchmarks for the modern era of the sport.

Lukaku and Antony are probably the ones closest to that.

  17. Ndombele is probably Spurs biggest flop. Pepe for Arsenal? But neither cost as much as Antony.

Mount to United is up there too. £50m and perma crocked. Slightly less money, but at least Antony has been available.

Pepe is definitely up there, but I don’t think he’s even close to Anthony. Pepe got 16 PL goals, and would have been decent if his price tag wasn’t inflated by Raul committing fraud lol

Just remembered Coutinho to Barcelona, just an astoundingly bad transfer.

I think we still owe Liverpool money for him, too?
