Very funny route to go given they needed an out and out proper number nine striker to compliment Jesus, they picked up Havertz. Still need that same profile and they go for another Havertz number 10/false 9 style hybrid.

Our number one target is apparently Sesko, who appears to be unavailable in January. I guess we’ve accepted that and decided to get the other versatile attacker we need for now, and go back for him in July, as Cunha can play on the wings and as a nine.

A penalty to Benfica because Szczesny was somewhere near the player, I guess, a ball deflected back off Raphinha’s head from 25 yards into the net, a weird own goal from a cross, and the winner should have been a penalty to Benfica lol.

 

You didn't mention Szczesny taking our his own player 40 yards from goal leaving a tap-in, either!

 

Just watched a 13 minute highlight video and they didn’t show Benfica’s potential penalty at the end, but after seeing their BS one in the first half, that’s just karma. 4-4 was probably fairer, but whatever, haha. The defense has been so shaky lately. Greatly missing a Busquets figure in front of that backline.

All three desperately need a win... and PSG/City play each other. IF Madrid, Celtic, and City win... I think PSG is almost guaranteed to be eliminated today.
