Every club has them, but United fans can be a funny bunch. Moaned about Antony since he joined, generally accepted that he offers nothing, and that he's impossible to get rid of due to combination of fee and an albatross of a contract.

A club is finally dumb/ naïve enough to offer us a lifeline, take him on loan and cover some wages, and now it's "leaving the squad thin", "no cover", "he must be replaced", "what happens if Mazaouri and Dalot get injured".

One league goal since April 2023. Played 7 games all season, only 1 start. As a winger, doesn't fit the No 10 or WB positions in the system. He runs about a bit and has an above average left foot (with no right), that's about it.

We'll be fine lads. If Antony is the answer to any question, we're clearly fucked regardless. Cut the losses, save the wages, and move on with our lives.
