cant believe premier league doesnt have hawkeye cameras (or whatever is the more en vogue camera-tracking company) covering all the touchlines

I really don’t think there’s any benefit to VAR checking if a ball is in or out of play to be honest. I know it’s somewhat similar to an offside check but there’s just not much help that can be done, especially when a ball can look completely out but still actually be on the field due to the shape of the ball.

 

I cannot watch Trossard drive another corner into the first man for the 17th time this week.

Get anyone else taking them.

Funnily enough, Arteta used to hit the first man constantly when he took corners for us. He stayed on them cause he got the free kicks right imo.

I think we genuinely lose every single game where it rains.

Which would be fine if we played in La Liga, but is a bit annoying when you play in England.

 

Arsenal losing actually makes this loss worse because we could’ve gained some ground. But it doesn’t matter. Sunday is likely another loss with this backline.

 

Update - now relying on Arsenal scoring to wipe opponents Areola clean sheet. In other words, it's not looking good...

 

One thing that bugs me about FPL is the points for saves. It takes 3 saves to get a GK 1 point. Yet, the GK & DEF players lose 1 point if 2 goals are scored. It doesn’t align.

GK’s should get 1 point for every 2 saves or all of them should be dinged 1 point if 3 goals are scored against.

 

West Ham have defended well, but Arsenal seem pretty predictable.

 

We looked better when we took Zinchenko off and brought ESR on for Trossard. But man we need a proper forward badly. Absolutely no cutting edge.

You can't think about winning a league without scoring more ffs.

 

Milner had his best performance for Brighton of the season. Hell of a strike for pervis to announce his return. Legit could’ve been a 5-5 game lol.

I got EA 24 for Christmas and I've never played these games before. I have no idea what I'm doing, especially with Ultimate Team -- that's way over my head

Is there not a mode where I can just pick a team and play a single match against CPU?

 

Today’s match was another example of the Davies Emerson Hojbjerg black hole. Those guys are so frustrating. If one of them is starting and is the worst player in the XI, they put in good performances. But when they’re all out there together, it’s a disaster. We don’t really have an alternative right now. Bournemouth on Sunday won’t be fun.

you should be able to exit out of ultimate team and see other games modes. You can definitely just play against the cpu.

Ultimate team sucks imo.

 

Yeah ultimate team sucks, look for the “kick-off” game mode I believe it should be

 

Yeah I played one in Volta and did the training stuff. I just don't want to jump into career mode or multiplayer yet

I found Volta gameplay to be most addictive early on when I picked up EA last year for the first time in a decade. Reminded me of NBA street for GameCube from back in the day which I was obsessed with

 

Thing is, it’s not just Jesus. Saka and Martinelli have forgotten how to score goals too.

I want to see ESR in for Martinelli next game, his performances have been awful all season.
