The reaction from United fans has been embarrassing to be honest. Especially coming from a fanbase that is begging for a single corner to make it past the first man for the past 8 years.

Be twice the ocean. Be twice the land.

As a very casual NFL viewer, it's funny to see our corners being treated contentiously like the tush push lol.

Teams should just get better at defending/ taking their own set pieces imo.

I’m not really sure there is a clear good way of defending Arsenal corners? Like they’re obviously obstructing players, but not to the point where it actually stands out head and shoulders above other teams. All teams do it, Arsenal perfected it.

Additionally if they had two shit corner takers they wouldn’t score so many. You add the jostling and obstructing that Arsenal do better than anyone to them having the two best corner takers in the league and it would be a struggle for anyone. That’s not even considering that the whole team are either tall or have a powerful leap. There’s not many teams where 5 players are an attacking weapon in the air during a corner.

Just one of those things you have to hope they’re slightly off boil and you defend well.

100%. If it's within the laws of the game, it's fair play. Either start doing it yourself if it's such a game changer, or get better at countering it.

Same as when teams get abused for playing successful long ball tactics. If you don't want teams lumping it upfield against you, it's on you to counter it.

The beauty of professional sport is that there's more than one way to play and be successful. How boring would it be if every team played exactly the same way?

My favourite thing about it is everyone else’s reactions to it. At the stadium, the fans are starting to do the “ooohhhHHHHHHHH” build up to corners, while opposition fans genuinely look sick with worry.

Even better, the Spanish commentators on TV were doing the jaws theme music everytime we got a corner haha.

Whoever made the tweet knew what they were doing using a pic of Martinez. Waste time against Arsenal at your peril!

Two very competitive-looking games. No idea which to watch, but inevitably I'll watch a dull 0-0 while the other ends 5-4.

Spurs conceding from another set piece, but as long as Ange doesn’t think it’s a problem lmao
