Gabriel pretty clearly took over 1:1 duty for Mo after that goal. Good call by him lol

Tomiyasu would be first choice if he was fit tbf. Knew Zinchenko would cost us but glad we got the draw.

A point away at Anfield is never bad.

  3. Spurs going 5 games without a win in the midst of an injury crisis and then just a few games later only 4 points off the top….weird.

I still don’t think we’re ready to make a run for the title this year. Next year more likely I suppose. But no team seems to be separating themselves this year and it’s looking like an actual title race forming.

January will be a tough month for us with the injuries and Asian/African cups, but if we survive that stretch, I don’t think us challenging for the top is a far stretch. I’d argue pretty hard that without the injury spell we’d still be on top right now. But those things happen and it’s a part of the game.

    hmmm

32 points on my bench. No chance will I reach that when I play bench boost.

City are going to click soon, and they’ll absolutely run away with it.

If City and Girona both qualify for the UCL, whoever is higher in the league will get to play and the other won’t. Could be hilarious if Girona wins La Liga and City comes second.

So its not clear to me if that is actually the case or not, CFG do not have a majority stake of Girona, it has the highest amount of shares of Girona but its under the 50% threshold. I think what also potentially would take place is the CFG aligned board members would have to step down from the Girona board.

Yeah, very "mature" of Arsenal to get a result there.

Nice to be top at Christmas again.

It’s very polite of Arsenal to promise to only let me down in the Spring every year.

The Eternal derby in Turkey today (Fenerbahce v Galatasaray). Both teams are neck-and-neck at the top of the league. I'll probably miss it as I'll be at my sister's house, but it's usually well worth a watch.

Merry Christmas to all, by the way.

Palmer out next match for yellow card accumulation. Sorry that I made that happen by transferring him in this week everyone

British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe has agreed to buy a 25% stake in Manchester United for about $1.3bn (£1.03bn).

Merry Christmas, I guess @ the United fans on here.

This is insane tbf. United have the worst wingers in the league.

Didn't watch this, but the reddit post-match thread amused me. "Wow. This was one of the most boring matches I watched this year with 1 shot on goal and 46 fouls."

Haha! Glad I swerved it due to no fault of my own, then.

  23. Been seeing a lot of praise for Djed Spence. He broke into Leeds starting lineup a few weeks ago at LB. If he can play both sides effectively then he’ll be a nice addition next season.
