The fact I know people who still support the rags is enough to make my piss boil.

Be twice the ocean. Be twice the land.

Getting the daggers in before the euros even start. Classic England that.

  4. Have you guys had good luck with DHgate? I’ve never bought a jersey from there. And their site is overwhelming.

Yeah, I've bought a bunch over the years, and all except one was basically perfect quality (the last had slanted name/number printing, which I suppose isn't the worst of the worst, especially for like, £12).

Just find a seller with a bunch of good ratings, search for the shirt you want (sometimes better results if you search for a player name instead of a team, since team results seem to return blanks these days), and grab 'em. Shipping ranges from like, 2 weeks to 6 weeks, but I've always gotten what I ordered as I ordered.

Funny you ask actually, since I just grabbed an England home + away this morning, which should hopefully be here before the Euros are over for us.

Does anyone here play FIFA/do we have enough folk around who would want to start a club for this thread? My old group dropped off and i’ve been itching to play clubs again lately.

Is this like an online franchise in Madden?

Not sure how it works in Madden but basically you’re creating your own player and playing as one of the 11 players in the team and you play against other teams doing the same thing

progression is basically like 10 games a “season” and if you win enough you get promoted divisions and if you lose too much you can get relegated divisions

Wait so does that mean it can be 11 humans v 11 other humans in virtual matches then?

Yes technically, but it’s super rare to get one squad of a full 11 let alone have them face off against a separate squad of 11. More often than not it’ll be a team of 3 people playing as two strikers and an attacking mid against a team of two players both playing striker. Or similar versions of that scenario. Basically any position not occupied by a human player is just controlled by the AI.

I lucked out and was perusing reddit to find a group who had a club or were willing to get a club formed to play casually and just have a good time, got in a game with a guy who had a club with 17 other members in it so they always tend to have at least 4-5 people on at any given time. Ended up playing with a max of myself and 7 others on a team at one point tonight.

The feeling of being on voice chat with all these guys as we’re pulling off a well worked team goal full of beautiful one and two touch play working the ball all the way up the pitch is unrivaled.

0 idea how reliable this is but I’m not ready to have to change all my opinions on Tuchel in the name of bias.

  19. The Sun, which means it probably isn’t true, says United and Spurs will “battle for Eze”.

There’s no doubt we like him. We’ve tried to get him multiple times and never went through with it. And he’s obviously a great player, but I’ve kinda cooled off on wanting us to sign him. I just don’t know if he fills a big need. He plays AM or LW. We have Maddison and Son at those positions. Can Eze and Maddison both start? Can Eze play at RW?

It’d be a big signing. And if it happens I definitely won’t be complaining. Just not sure what the plan would be.

let’s see if it goes thru this time!

I wasn’t interested in signing goretzka to that last deal when he was at peak value, so hopefully a signing like this can push him out the door

We don’t have a position for Eze.

Fulham will be in the mire next season if they can't replace Palhinha.

If a Saudi club comes in and offers United the same kind of money that was offered to Liverpool for Salah year, I’d take it if it meant we were bringing Eze. I think his athleticism and ball carrying ability in the position are game breaking abilities. As in though, Nick is right.

  24. So the two teams currently rumored for him don’t have a position for him lol
