Kind of insane that none of these are going

Been in Paris all week for work and it’s been interesting to see what they think about the tournament. Seems like they’re obviously very positive and confident, but they definitely think England are a threat. They seem to think more of us than we do, honestly.

They're probably underestimating the Southgate factor

  5. France and England are definitely the front runners for me. But I think Netherlands could make a deep run.

I fancy Portugal actually. Seems like they have depth basically everywhere.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

I wish I could have more confidence in England but Southgate and the bottling factor have me leaning to France and Portugal as my favourites to win it

One more year of Vardy in the Barclays

England literally almost won the last Euros. Clear favorite for me.*

My Portuguese friend reckons they still don't have a quality CF. He doesn't rate Ramos.

Just found out two wealthy Evertonians (Andy Bell and George Downing) want to buy Everton. They're the owners of Dell Technologies.

how do you drop Branthwaite when Stones is injury prone and hasn't played consistently in a while

not that Stones should be dropped, but how do you not bring along Branthwaite as defensive cover

  14. In the last 24 hours I’ve seen Tuchel, Poch, and Southgate all listed as favorite for the United job if they sack ETH.

they should hire all three and see what happens

I wonder if United have lined up a manager with a national team but, unlike Real Madrid, aren’t announcing anything until that team is out of the Euros/Copa.

Southgate has been mentioned but I really don’t see us waiting until after pre-season has started to bring someone in. That would be an unmitigated disaster.

Missed the game as I was seeing The Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer. Which it turns out was much better than watching England lol.

Were we trying or was it just a boring kick about with a b team?

I watched the debate which was somehow I imagine infinitely worse than both.

Ah I'm seeing that tonight. What time did Weezer come on?

Weezer were 7:15-8:30 for us. Then TSP were 9-11.

Also TSP were fucking brilliant, and although there was a few too many new songs, given the lengthy setlist I’ll allow it.

  22. Spurs apparently planning to bid 40m for Toney. I think that’s a fair price considering what the price tag was a year ago. He wasn’t all that impressive after his return from suspension. I think a move could revive him. But I’m also scared of how bad of a flop it could be haha

  23. Based on the names I’ve seen floated around, and trying to stay realistic, I think an ideal window would look something like:

Toney, Gallagher, Walker-Peters, Hikori Ito, and then a winger if we can make it happen. This isn’t the most exciting group but I think we come out a better team.

I wonder why the press chose Saka instead of Foden and Kane, who both started and had shockers? :chin:
