I could see any of Spain, Italy, or Croatia winning.

Spain are the betting favorites. Italy a little behind them. Both are teams I could see winning the whole thing or not even making it to knockouts lol. And Croatia always shows up, but the magic has to end eventually, right?

Maguire has his best season in years and misses out because of injury.

 

Gutted for Maguire. He's so solid for England and really deserves it. Huge loss for the team. Defence is looking super sus now.

Seriously how does Gralish not make the 26 man squad? Do they just expect to score 3+ goals every match?

 

Grealish is one of the best in the world at drawing fouls and I think we could have really utilised that in late stages of tight games, so not bringing him is a bit of a stinker, but I'm not too sure he would have got many minutes.

Also does this mean Foden is definitely playing on the left?

 

In what world does Grealish deserve to make it based off the year he’s had? Which player would you be comfortable looking in the eyes and telling he deserves it over them?

 

Grealish in no way deserved to go, sat on the bench most of the year and didn’t do much. Other players actually played and contributed way more.

Should be a lesson to players, it’s better for your international career to play and make a difference at a midtable club than warm a bench at a top one.
