Got a 2-0 win today taking them up to 15th! Now to just to not lose to #17 and #18 to close out the season. The previous games vs these two teams were both 0-0 ties... which fits this season. First game at home, second game away. I think winning one is enough to stay up, but can't be certain because of how insanely close 14-18th are right now.

A draw here is actually fine. Doesn’t really change much for Spurs. We still have to win twice and Villa lose to Palace.

I’m going to be so sad when he leaves, but honestly I don’t blame him. Just hope when he does we can get a big sum and can use that to rebuild.

 

Im not fully tempted to believe it because Luckhurst but he would bring in so much to hopefully still improve the squad long-term

 

yeah I'm not sure. but it is incredibly suspicious off the back of the reports that everyone in the squad was essentially up for sale except for Hojlund/Mainoo/Garnacho a few weeks ago. there's kinda been constant murmurs of Bruno wanting out and I think it's fairly logical if he does.

it also gives us a chance to completely re-do our midfield. bruno is fantastic but him playing every single game basically means we're stuck to a two man midfield every time.

 

He was linked to Saudi yesterday and I made a similar point on the Reddit thread. Bruno is fantastic and by far our best player, but keeping him really commits to having a weak midfield and a commitment to transition football. None of the best teams play with a pure No 10 these days. I did have high hopes that he could play a bit further back in a midfield 3, but we don't have the squad for that and it nulifies his best attributes.

 

Who is gonna buy Antony?

 

Every time I see Toney linked to Spurs all the comments say no because he has an “attitude problem”. Is this the case? I know being suspended for gambling isn’t a great look but are there other things I’m missing? I wouldn’t call that an attitude problem.

I don't want the United squad to be rebuilt. Tons of talent on the current squad.

 

he's shit on Brentford publicly a few times and there have been more than a few reports that he's just a generally unpleasant guy to have in the locker room.

It almost feels like the game on Sunday is the trap game, not the one today. “They’ve never scored there, etc.” just feels too… much like a scripted set up.

I’m going to go for either a very controversial 2-2 draw or an extremely controversial City 1-0 win today as my prediction.
