Xavi clearly doesn’t rate him. To be fair to Xavi, he’s done practically nothing in the chances he’s been given. As soon as Xavi announced he was staying, his agent started complaining about playing time and not being given a chance, etc. Tbh it’s no loss at all on current form and ability. At eighteen you’re not starting ahead of Lewandowski anyway. So if he wants to leave, cash out.

 

I read that it’s a power struggle between Deco and Xavi. Xavi didn’t want him so is leaving him out to make a point. Apparently Xavi hasn’t even talked to him in months.
