Out of interest, why? Have I missed something?

 

Kinda crazy to me that MLS clubs are too expensive and American billionaires are opting for European clubs instead.

I’m sure fans in Europe hate it, but I don’t blame these owners. MLS makes them pay a huge fee for an expansion team and then put a bunch of restrictions on how much they can spend on their squads. Unless you’re Miami, of course.

 

After a year of unprecedented injuries and an upcoming Euros this summer, I’m hoping United can drop to 8th and miss out on Europe entirely. For a squad that will be facing a big turnover it would be good to have more time on the training pitch to acclimate to the system no matter who is in charge.
