Out of interest, do you know how quickly Bayern home tickets sell out? Also, is 'general sale' a thing in Germany?

Yeah, interested in how easy it is to get tickets.

I really wanna go over to Germany and watch a game. Feel like maybe next season I’ll have to make it work somehow.

The good news is you'll draw Bayern in the quarterfinals so you'll definitely get the opportunity.

This provoked an actual laugh from me lol.

    Anyone but them, please.

Congrats, you got Barca. I believe that's how that works for your "random" draws.

They usually sell out quickly but theres also a secondary market platform on Bayerns website where you can get tickets from people who can't attend. The top matches are mostly members only though.

  8. So which team loses their home match?

It won’t happen in the PL. Fans would kick off again and they need to stave off the independent regulator.

Far more likely in La Liga and Serie A.

Definitely happening in La Liga. Tebas pretty much assured it the other day.

I was looking at the secondary market for the four closest Inter Miami games to try and see Barcelona 2015 in person again:

Three are the week around July 4th, which is notably all during the Copa America so Messi (and maybe Suarez) won't be there:

Nashville is on a Saturday. Tickets are all over 3 digits.
Charlotte is on a Wednesday. Tickets are pretty reasonable for the US, but still higher than you'd expect sans-Messi.
Cincinatti is on a Saturday and the cheapest ticket is $209.

Atlanta in September, also on a Wednesday, and Messi should be back. Cheapest ticket is $80. I guess I won't be seeing them this go around either.

I doubt you ever will if it's the price point putting you off? Can't see the prices going down while Messi is active.

  15. I split my season tickets with a friend and last year Miami ended up being one of my games. This year he gets the Miami game. But Messi won’t be there. I kinda feel bad lol

  16. Just an example of why it’s so dumb that MLS doesn’t pause for international competitions

Price point is fine when it comes to American sports. Just kinda funny the prices are remaining high on the three he’s not even playing.

The Wednesday night of it all is way more annoying.

Chelsea or Arsenal or Man U is most likely. But again the supporters will riot in the streets.

EDIT: IF this were to happen you need to have this match earlier or give those two teams a week or weekend off.

I do think we could see something like a League Cup final there. Maybe even the semi finals and make it a mini tournament like the covid-era CL was in Lisbon.

I don’t think fans would care enough to kick up a fuss, you likely get some of the top teams, it’s a competitive game, and it might make the tournaments attractive with big clubs for the first time.

Sorry, man, but I'd flip if Everton finally made the League Cup final (or even semi) and it was over in the States. The only people who care about making the League Cup "attractive" for the big clubs are those that have been spoilt by too much success imo. I'm still firmly in the "a final is a final" way of thinking.

Charity Shield or whatever the fuck it’s called now is the only game that should be played abroad. No one really gives a fuck about it anyway.

Jesus fuck it’s over 20 years since it was called the Charity Shield :tear:

Isn't it an FA entity? But I agree it makes the most sense for that to be played abroad. Everyone involved could charge an arm and a leg in certain markets.

Tbf Arsenal are shit in that tournament so I just assume we'd already be knocked out. Success in it isn't something I take for granted, I just assume it won't happen.

But on reflection I agree with you. Good point.

Ipswich are 4 points away from promotion, I'm not sure I'm ready for this.

Just need to beat Coventry tonight, nothing to worry about!
