I’m really not looking forward to Sunday.

 

It does feel like this Liverpool team is running on nothing towards the end of this season, but Everton have been brilliant tonight.

 

Oh nice. Wheatley coming on. He scored 2 for the u18’s last night in the u18s PL cup final.

 

Everton have eliminated Liverpool from the title race and Spurs are gonna do that to us on Sunday thanks to their extended April break lol

Oh the DRAMA of waiting out the stoppage time of WOL vs BOU since I had clean sheet points on the line

 

No points deduction and Everton would be on 41 points after these 34 games. As wretched as the first three and a half months of this year were, Dyche has squeezed out some performances from Everton this season. That's a decent total for a really poor attack.

 

I personally want it to be mathematical haha. We've got Brentford and Sheffield United still to come at home, plus the Luton away game inbetween. The outlook is good when it looked so bleak after the Chelsea game. I may even get my dream of Arsenal coasting to the title on the final day yet.

 

Truly a mad premier league season. I still think it's City's to win and won't be surprised if they just win out but some shocking defeats here from their rivals.

 

Just saw some report saying Spurs have the advantage for Eze because of “family ties”. Going to choose to pretend it’s true.

 

I've read £60m would be the price, too. About right in today's market for a 25-year-old a club wants to keep. I feel the risk (he's never played for a "big" club) could be worth it. Do you think there's concerns behind-the-scenes over Maddison because his form hasn't been the same since his last injury?

 

I haven’t seen anything about concerns with Maddison. And I don’t think it’d have any weight on us wanting Eze. I’m pretty sure we tried to get Eze last summer as well. After we had bought Maddison.

 

Instead of just declaring it a tie based on the 1-1 score line at the time, Udinese and Roma have to play out the final 18 minutes of their match that got abandoned when the Roma player went down unconscious and ended up in the hospital.
