The players who have come in tonight are all playing very differently.

Emile Smith-Rowe has been fantastic. Good going forward but also pressing, tracking back, doing the dirty work. I think Arteta likely bollocked him for letting Willock go for the Newcastle consolation goal. He’s playing like someone with a point to prove. Been a massive part of both goals so far.

Partey has been slowly getting warming up and playing well.

Nelson has been truly shite. Looks indecisive, off the pace, and fairly low on confidence. Needs a good second half.

Foden is unreal. Odegaard could feel hard done by for POTY especially if he can lead Arsenal to the title, but Foden has been ethereal.

I don’t know. I watch and nothing jumps out about him. But he ends up on the score line enough and I guess that’s what matters.
