Poch not winning a trophy with Chelsea is great

 

Teams going into the stands for their medals is still one of the weirdest things in soccer for me.

Chelsea are so funny

 

They sold it to ease FFP issues.

 

Watching this season unfold for Chelsea makes me want to criticize Poch for the jobs he’s chosen post-Spurs. I mean, on paper, he has managed two very talented teams. But both PSG and Chelsea just feel like toxic environments. Two clubs where it doesn’t seem he’s able to build anything himself. It’s just mega signings over and over. Which is nice and all. But in both cases he feels like more of a piece of the puzzle than someone who is helping put the puzzle together.

 

Charlotte sold all 3 of our Polish players in the last month and it had me worried the pre-game Poznan would disappear. It did not. It only grew lol started out just as the supporter section and now the entire lower bowl joins.

Pretty cool to watch a clip like this knowing it’s only opening night of our third season.

Also noticed the fear from away fans when we get a corner is crazy now, and the opposition players are getting scared to give them away which is causing them issues.

Turns out, it’s fun to be so good at set pieces.

 

It’s truly incredible the telepathic link Messi developed with both Alba and Dani Alves. It actually disgusts me how much I loved Dani Alves now considering there was a time where I’d say he was a top 3 favorite player of mine. At his peak, none did it better from RB. Completely changed the position forever. Jordi Alba never quite reached that height on the left, but absolutely deserves to be a part of every Messi “how did he do it?” breakdown going forward. Absolutely special connection.
