Rattled Spurs so bad in the derby we appear to have given the squad actual depression.

Seriously though, I cannot remember the last time I saw a player like that in an interview wow

Hugo is pretty sick of some of his teammates it seems like and I don’t blame him. Even says they were told to attack, and basically said that players that aren’t starting are being petty about it and not trying. Just. Truly damning interview

Honestly, this is one of the lowest points I’ve felt with this team. There’s been a lot of low moments, but this is feeling truly terrible.

Worst part is I wish I could just chalk it up and blame Mou, but it’s clearly much deeper than him.

To be honest that sounds like everything people said Mourinho would bring atmosphere wise.

The problem is that if Spurs do sack Mou, they won't have any money left this summer for the rebuild they desperately need.

It seems like it’s been this way from even before Mou though. The signs have been there since Poch.
And yeah, that’s the worst part. We’d have to most likely sell Son if we sack Mou. I guess roll with him one more season, retool the defense completely and hope it improves. Unlikely but it’s really the only option.

For as much as I don’t think Ole will take us to the next level. Our squad was as fractured and broken as Spurs is now when he took over from Mou. If there has been one thing Ole brought, it’s unity within the squad. The difference between then and now is night and day.

I think a major problem at Tottenham (and Liverpool and pretty much almost every major club) is that this season, following a pandemic and no summer off, was just too much. All of the Cup competitions should’ve been called off.

Think of how the last year has been for you mentally and then also throw in injuries (Liverpool and Real Madrid showing the worst of that off the top of my head), schedule glut, etc. just makes everything else come to a boil

The players who are playing in the Euros this summer into the next league may not get a true vacation in almost three years.

And we still don’t know what leagues are gonna look like for that Nov-Dec 22 World Cup (I think those are the dates)

    hmmm

Spurs have a bunch of losers in their squad though and no quality of management is changing that. You can find ways to hide it for a short while but it'll always come out. That squad hasn't won anything for a reason.

Madrid got ridiculously lucky with that draw.

    Bayern-PSG
    City-Dortmund

    Bayern-City semi (prediction)

    Madrid-Liverpool
    Chelsea-Porto

    Madrid-Chelsea semi (prediction)

These aren't the worst match-ups across the board (barring City-Bayern being a semifinal) if everyone is in form. But current form reveals quite a bit of lopsided draws.

Goes without saying that this isn't the most ideal fixture for Dortmund. But at this point, that kind of goes out the window as all the competition looks difficult in their own right. I just hope we play solid and avoid making silly mistakes.
