We’ve easily been the better team this half but did nothing with it. Shame, a result is there for the taking really.

 

If Arsenal holds this to 1-0, it’s definitely a “positive” loss considering the implosion it could’ve become.

 

James was great against Sociedad but this really isn’t a game for him. Newcastle will defend deep and he will have no space to play in.

Really thought there was a chance today was the day and Henderson would start in the League.

 

For most of the season this might be the case but since they brought in a new coach they're playing a narrow diamond and pushing higher. There should be more space for him wide than previously.

 

Come on Man United. Time to make Newcastle's goal difference worse. Yes, I'm rooting for Fulham to beat the drop.

 

We are dirt poor and DDG really needs to be dropped.

 

Inter are on course to win Serie A it looks like. Lukaku and Martinez up top are deadly.

Man United are so under-coached. Everything's entirely off-the-cuff.

For all his ability, Martial is a dreadful centre forward.

 

Newcastle took multiple corners short and Man United were still not switched on for it.

I don't know what Solksjaer and his staff do all week.

 

It will be fucking INSANE if Martial comes back into the pitch after half time.

 

It’s mad that United fans who watch every single one of our games don’t see this. We completely rely on individual brilliance. If Rashford and Bruno are off form we’re beyond fucked. I was saying it before Christmas when we were winning all the time, the football is not good enough for a full season. Yeah on our day we could probably beat anyone, but the next day we could lose to anyone.


Our injuries aren’t helping today, we’ve no midfield but that doesn’t excuse the fact we play like this when everyone is fit.

 

Seems about right. Even with Fernandes, as good as he's been since he joined, I think his general play in build up could be a lot better if you were actually coached.

Chelsea easily exposed Newcastle's system the other day and it looks like you did absolutely no preparation at all.
