Yeah, it's arguably been a constant thorn in their side since their last title win with maybe the exception being the first year Tuchel was in charge. Every other year their defense has been slightly-above-average at best with particular issues rearing their head in goal. Burki has had some rare great spells but honestly he's just not been consistent enough, and at times been outright dreadful.

Also doesn't help that this year the midfield has been a mess and, obviously, the coaching situation...

I’m guessing he was not expecting Gundogan to turn suddenly like that.

Annoyingly Rodri scored despite of being a terrible penalty.

 

Gundogan was also a bit out of control which didn’t help the situation.

watch the replay again. Before that happens Gondogan literally rakes the back of Hojbjerg’s leg and then Hojbjerg trips over him with his other leg. It’s an absolute trash call.
