    I'll take Lampard at Ipswich.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Seems a bit knee-jerk to bin a young coach (and club legend) the way they have. Did really well last year with their young players (don't often get to say that about Chelsea) and whilst this year has been a bit patchy, they've looked strong at times. He always seems to have a good handle on the performances in interviews as well. Felt to me like he'd eventually figure it out, given the time.

The quotes about the state of the squad players and tension in the dressing room are interesting.

Be interesting to see where he goes next.

Everyone talks about the way Arsenal have let like £120m of talent go for free, but it’s interesting Chelsea have basically done the same with managers.

Thinking today about the season, and I don’t really know what I have to look forward to from Arsenal. We might be able to get into Europe, we’re a few points behind West Ham in seventh. In terms of Champions League, we’re 7 points behind fourth which is doable but relies on too many teams dropping too many points I think, regardless of our good PL form.

That just leaves the Europa League, which I look at and think Leverkusen, Milan, Roma, Leicester, Man United, Spurs and Napoli are all better than us.

Feels like a pointless season really but maybe having no cup games outside of Europe will be beneficial for our squad.

I do agree, but I'm really enjoying watching the Hale End boys develop which is enough to keep me watching and getting angry at Willian every week until the end of the season!

We'll get to the semi final and lose anyway. Same with the FA cup.

    Hold Wycombe. Please hold.

  9. Davinson Sanchez's development really just hit a brick wall. He looked so promising when we first bought him.

  10. Bale :)

  11. Bale is having his best game of the season today. I know it’s lower competition but I hope this is a confidence booster for him.

A 38 year old Akinfenwa for 20 minutes against Premier League opposition seems ... bold. His stamina was atrocious years ago.

It’s kinda funny that, in hindsight, offloading Di Maria for Bale was a net loss for Real Madrid. Weird to say that when Bale won three straight UCL, but it’s hard to call his tenure there “good.”

But also Bale’s petty can’t-be-assed nature is AMAZING and I would’ve hate to have been robbed of it.

Odegaard's loan move to Arsenal is close to happening. Let's hope he's not another Kallstrom.

Kallstrom arrived with a broken back, so so far so good!
