That could be a preliminary thing while they investigate it further. You can't have them with the squad if they're worried about infecting the rest of it. They might still be told to sod off (which is what should happen).

Damn. Was hoping Newcastle might try grabbing him on a loan. Having him and ASM to feed Wilson (along with Joelinton doing his wrecking ball thing) would give us some solid counter attacking options. We're a couple of injuries away from being utterly useless.

Yeah I like the look of him and we’ve been linked on and off since last summer. The last I heard was we were interested in him for next summer.

 

Smalling I think is a matter of time but has been on/off all day, Romero was kinda linked to Everton but I doubt anyone else is outgoing

I don't think we're going to get Romero, unfortunately. One of our tier 1 journalists says we're signing Robin Olsen on loan from Roma.

 

Yeah they're saying you'se were offering a loan but we wanted a permanent transfer. Think we wanted a nominal fee rather than to lose him on a free after a loan.

It's honestly a bit of an insult to the guy after the attitude he's had the entire time he's been here. Never once complained. Now he's probably not going to play a game all season as our 3rd choice, when he could have gone to a genuine top 8 club and competed for (and probably become) the starter.

He’s played three games for Atalanta and scored on his debut. I just wonder why the transfer wasn’t made this summer and not signing him on deadline day to get him in in January.
