Why can’t all countries have kits as cool as Nigeria?

 

Apparently the number of Orient players that tested positive is in double digits

 

Imagine if that match had gone ahead...

 

Yeah I cannot really give you much more info about him. He scored quite a few since he came to Wolfsburg. From what I remember in the few games I saw him is that he is a good hold up player that draws mulitple defenders and opens up space for other players.
As a backup for Kane he would be great, but I don't even know if he wants to be a backup. Given his stats he should be a starter actually.

 

The top left one is exquisite! Perfect example of a simple design that is not a template that's overused for multiple teams.
I like the bottom left one too as that is one of the more unique designs i've seen in a while, but I'm not sold on the one on the right (which I assume is the home kit!)

Gabriel Jesus looks really bad when City rely on him to play as a striker. One of his best games in the City shirt was against Real Madrid in leg 1 this year. He was all over up top. When barca were looking for players I was ok shipping him off since City need to look again for a striker.

 

I think he’s trying to get a European passport to not take up an non EU space.

 

Bad news for English football, particularly the lower leagues, as Boris confirms that fans won’t be permitted to return to sporting events from 1st October.

I am really concerned that many lower league clubs will go out of business. I was astounded by the revelation yesterday that they can’t even afford their own Covid tests.

In my eyes the top (ie. the PL) need to share some wealth to get the lower leagues through this time. It’s not in their financial interest so it won’t happen, but I’d love to see something like that so the heart and soul of football in this country isn’t lost, perhaps forever.

 

I'm hoping the current issue with Orient is a wakeup call to everyone but, like you, I don't trust the big clubs to make a real impact/effort to aide this smaller clubs. Spurs paid for the testing for Orient, but they did so out of the safety of their own players. They knew Orient weren't being tested and needed to do so before they'd let their players in contact with Orient. But it is nice to see reports that Spurs are going to cover costs of the cancellation and auction off shirts to raise money for Orient. So those are good things, but I hope we see it more widespread.
