Apparently Dele Alli is hurt and will miss at least the next two games. Time for Lamela to shine.

 

Seems I picked a great time to go on holiday...

 

United atrocious. Completely out of ideas. There's been a lot said and written over the last few weeks, a lot of it bullshit, but this week feels like it's been significant. If United get pumped here, I think it might become the point of no return for Mou. There's just too much pressure.

 

Not saying he'll get sacked or walk or whatever immediately. Far from it. Just that it might start to become an inevitability.

 

I think Derby was that point myself to be honest.

 

If he’s still in charge by for the Valencia game, Woody has fucked up.

 

Yeah, I mean we can expand it to the week to be honest. It's crazy, I just don't know how things have gone quite so badly. He has no idea of his best team at all, just throwing a bunch of square pegs in circle holes. The set up for today was a joke.

Finishes 3-1 which is a scoreline that frankly flatters United. We were absolutely terrible, offered nothing at all. So slow and ponderous.

 

No excuse for United to look so poor. Too much talent. Jose needs to go.

 

It's so weird saying that it's the players who are all constantly underperforming. How is it not clear as day that we have absolutely no identity as a team, utterly lacking any and all style of play, particularly in the final third? We've seen glimpses of playing a high intensity press + quick/one touch/forward football this season, thanks to McKenna and Carrick, but it's so clear that Mourinho has lost the dressing room at this point.

This isn't to say that Zidane or anyone else coming in and taking the shackles off would immediately fix everything, or that we don't still have obvious weaknesses in our squad, but we've finally reached the point in Mourinho's tenure where we are playing shit football as well as no longer getting results. The only way you can play shit football is by coming away from most matches with 3 points.

 

Conversely, could the results be partly put down to a lack of experience in his back room staff? Carrick and McKenna have a combined 0 full years first team coaching experience. Losing Faria may have been bigger than it first seemed.

Not that that can't be put down to Mou - he chooses his own staff after all - but could be a contributing factor.

 

Didn't see the match but Rashers goal was quality.

 

Would love to see Liverpool and Chelsea draw

 

Hazard back in form along with that new midfield is kinda scary

 

Man City sitting at the top. Next will be huge. And I’m nervous for it.

 

Now we just need a Liverpool - City draw next week
