We didn't have a pre season. Players got back from holiday last week.

 

Which is why I think people will read too much into this. Yes your defence is bad, but you’ll still do well this year.

 

Deserved result. We were awful and Palace were the much better team from the first minute.

This might be me just being down because of the result, but I disagree. Look at the standard of the players that were replacing our first XI. TFM who went three years without a game for United, James has been awful since October and is essentially useless against sides that don't pin us back, and McTominay (who I like) only has two performances in him, he's either brilliant, or completely useless. We're completely reliant on our first team, not just to play, but to show up and play well. I mean at this stage, if Bruno gets injured Pereira is back in the line up.

I think this will happen a lot this season and I don't think we will be challenging for top 4 without a few purchases when I look at how Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, and even Everton have improved in the market. That's not even mentioning Leicester and Wolves.

 

Love the United fan on BBC’s live page saying the club are dead to him lol. Imagine giving up because your club finished fourth and then lost to Crystal Palace.

I know people rate Declan Rice, but i don’t really get the hype.

Admittedly, I don’t watch much of West Ham because they’re rubbish and boring, but I’m not sure I’ve seen a stand out game from him, at least not that I can recall.
