Apparently we made an inquiry for Ings and got shut down.

I think it's because clubs basically get paid by the shirt companies for the rights to make the shirt (so like Adidas paying United a bomb for the kit deal), with that payment being made in yearly sums, then the shirt companies make the money back through shirt sales. I think that's how it works, but I can be corrected haha.

 

I think trying for Ings is a waste of time. Southampton won't sell unless it's outrageous.

I've been seeing that a lot this morning, too.

It's a very strong lineup and we left several good players in London. The depth of this team is slowly getting better.

 

Konrad De Le Fuente is there as well and been playing in their friendlies. I think Koeman came out yesterday and said he has been the most impressive youngster or one of them that he has seen this pre-season.
