I was trying to describe myself to someone

I think we've got rid of Matt Richie somewhere in all this, so I think we're very short of left backs.

Edit: Seems we haven't got rid. He was part of the Wilson deal at some point, but it seems we've switched to just cash. Whether that means he's still on his way out is unclear.

  2. I really hope we can get a striker signed in the next few days. We have so many games right off the start.

We haven't spent more than we did with Benitez in charge to be honest. I guess we could still sign some more and make it a big spend for us, but given the way we're hoovering up frees, I suspect it's going to be business as usual.

  4. Reguilon just went down with a bad looking ankle injury. Not good for his transfer hopes.

  11. @Garrett are Barca linked to any defensive players right now?

I saw they are rumored to get Depay and Wijnaldum fairly cheap. I like those signings quite a bit for them. If they can add a CB and/or LB I think they’ll be just fine. Especially with Fati entering the picture more prominently.

Eric Garcia is the only name I’ve been seeing defensively, but he’d just be a back-up to Pique. I’ve also seen a bit of talk of Gaya from Valencia (I think that’s his team) as a back-up/competitor for Alba.

I don’t think Barca can afford a first XI defender in the current market/their current situation.

I don’t really like the idea of signing Depay. Or Wijnaldum, really. If we’re signing older players, the same problems seem to continue. So why not just sign Thiago and “bring him home” to play alongside his brother.

I’d much rather they go for Guedes from Valencia in that midfield spot. Younger and a load of talent.

I think we’ll be seeing more of Fati, Puig, and Alena than expected.

I’m expecting a 4-2-3-1 with Pjanic/Busquets-De Jong as a double pivot behind Fati-Puig/Alena-Messi with Griez up front. Maybe Fati-Messi-Roberto behind Griez.

Edit: lol forgot Coutinho. Maybe Coutinho-Messi-Fati as the starting attacking midfield.

  13. I like the Wijnaldum and Depay signings because of how cheap they’ll be and because they’ll add good depth. The 6-non defensive positions would be fairly deep after those two signings. They’d still have a handful of younger players (Alena, Puig, Fati, Dembele) getting plenty of minutes.

I know I should support Nashville since I live in Tennessee but Miami is sponsored by Publix.

A better use of funds I think lol

Edit: apparently they have been in contact with Porto for Alex Telles too. Woodward finally showing up, with 2 weeks before United's season starts lol

Foden and Greenwood broke COVID rules to bring girls back to their hotel, and have been kicked out of the England squad. Not only this but the Manchester clubs will likely have to pay for their private flights back and they will need to quarantine.

    What a pair of dickheads.

When will people realize we are in a pandemic and need to support these small businesses.

Also, Foden just LOOKS like the type of kid who would do that. Not surprised.

    I do not exist.

Very disappointing - such a privileged position to be able to play sport at this time. I know they're young, but I would have hoped that players at international level had more sense.

In Covid news, I saw Mahrez and Laporte have tested positive as well and will have to self-isolate for 10 days.

I'm amazed that clubs haven't done more to stop players travelling. Clearly the players are too daft to realise that it made very little sense in their position to be jetting about.

Yaya Toure walked so Phil Foden could fly.

Did not expect Phil to be the one to take it further.
