That United kit is awful. Totally awful. In fact, I think it’s the worst kit this season.

Also, Nketiah got a three for England U-21’s, and Nelson scored too. Saka also played.

Earlier this summer we signed a 17 year old from Feyernoord called Salah-Eddine, and he’s already training with the senior team and they’ve been showing clips. Don’t know about his overall game and obviously training is different to a game, but his dribbling on the ball and finishing are unbelievable from them.

when I worked at Nissan Technical Centre for a summer at uni, we used to camouflage all the new prototype car design ideas with exactly that pattern.

Saw someone on twitter say that the Ajax manger, Ten Haag, doesn't class Dest as 'essential' to the team or something, so he could well leave this summer. Madness to me, but the manager knows best I guess

  12. Anyone here know about Habib Daillo? He’s the latest striker linked to us.

I will be shocked if Zardes doesn't get the spot over both Sargent and Altidore.

That England team is ... certainly something. Dier at CB, Trippier at LB, the squad numbers being all over the place. Ew.

  15. Told you Dier would be England CB!!!

(I don’t know why he is haha)

The Champions League being behind a paywall and somehow The UEFA Nations League having games on basic cable just shows how weird soccer rights are in the States.

If you think that's weird, wait until I tell you that Premier League games in the UK are shown via three different expensive subscription services, so if you want to watch them all, you'd need three subscriptions...

Except they STILL don't show all the games.

Abut 4/5 matches a gameweek are Saturday 3PM kickoffs which they are banned from showing over fears it would make people quit watching their local team. Which, sure, I see that. So what happens is, everyone just illegally streams them instead. Being the host of these streams is punishable with seven years in prison, longer than many rapists and murderers get.

All European football is also behind the paywall of a subscription service as is a lot of international football.

People in the UK can watch the least top level UK football of anyone outside of China and Saudi Arabia...

Yeah I knew the UK had it rough with paywall games. We have had it lucky the past few years with mostly free services but the trend seems to be heading back to paywalls. It was a beautiful few years.

    Lucky England.

You know what’s worse? Ireland is a different country but still until a couple of years ago under the same 3pm ban as the UK was. We now get to watch one of the 3pm games.

I knew all of this, but somehow seeing it all written together makes it so much worse...

To be fair I guess they use the same argument?

It's insane. I added in that if you are the one hosting the streaming you can get seven years in prison, as happened to one man not long ago.

The Premier League was a mistake.

Newcastle signing Ryan Fraser on a free, plus Callum Wilson for £23m, Rogerio for £14m and Jamal Lewis for £15m.

Imagine if they invested like this when Benitez was in charge...

When you really look into those deals, it's only Fraser on a free that looks like decent business. Wilson can score goals, don't get me wrong, but he's 28 on the back of a serious knee injury. As for the combined £29m spent on two left backs, wouldn't just the one suffice?
