The part about having to sell to create funds doesn’t seem consistent to me. We signed Doherty before selling Aurier. And it’s been confirmed we made a big bid for Zaniolo but Roma is refusing. So if we have interest in Van de Beek I think we have the money. It’ll be more so player preference and whether or not Levy pisses everyone off.

I guess for 2022 qualifying? Konrad and Dest play the same position, so I gave it to the one at the higher level (since Konrad is Barca B).

I don’t think Reyna unseats Jozy yet. I also don’t think Weah should be a starter yet, so maybe switch Pulisic to that side and put Lletget on that side? It’s been so long since I watched the USMNT.

 

Could they run a 4231?

Adams and McKennie would be a nice CM pairing.

If Arteta can win trophies with Luiz, Mustafi, and Holding at the back and Elneny in midfield, imagine when we get that Saliba - Gabriel back line and get some new midfielders.

It’s actually kind of funny, I think if we did sign Thiago he wouldn’t improve us as much as he would Liverpool. That’s not me saying we have a better midfield than Liverpool, but Thiago would suit them down to the ground. However with our midfield seemingly being Pogba, Bruno + 1, I don’t think Thiago would work for us. So yeah I’m a way I think even though Liverpool are a better side than us, he would improve them more.
