Haha! I realised as soon as I asked the question that I didn't actually know how to link to the league, so had to go back and find your previous post

 

I got 48 too. Feel like we may have gotten the same 2 wrong. Kiev GK and Rosenborg player?

 

If anyone claims to have got those 2 then they're a liar!!!! (Unless you're Norwegian or Ukrainian!)

 

Yep, same two! I thought the Kiev keeper was Pyatov but he was from Shakhtar not Dynamo, never heard of the Rosenborg player ever I don't think

 

Haha, I thought as much.

On the subject of FPL, I'm very happy with my team on paper. Part of me doesn't want Messi to join City because he'd probably cost 15m and that would bust my team wide open.

 

This is part of me hesitating to get too into team building juuuuuuust yet.

 

I wish I could resist my urges to tinker haha.

 

I feel like players are far more expensive than they used to be when I first started playing this.

And that more and more players aren't in the right line.

 

I've not joined the league as I am purposely not picking any Liverpool players (as a way to give my friends a chance, as I keep whipping them in our mini league lol), and IDK if I want to get my ass kicked in you guys' league too

So far I've gone (3-5-2):

Doherty, AWB, Taylor (Burnley),
Aubameyang, Mount, KdB, Son, Ward-Prowse
Maupay, Martial

Bench: Button (Brighton GK), Mitrovic, Justin (Leicester), Ferguson (Palace)

 

How are you bypassing the United, City, Burnley and Villa blank game week? I'm not going to post my team due to the competition but I've not selected any players from those team for game week 1.

 

I've kinda accepted the first couple of weeks being a bit of a crapshoot, but on the condition that I believe it'll leave me in a better placed position for the rest of the season.

So naturally, I'll be 100 points behind after 3 games and never claw it back.

 

Every fantasy player in the world trying to squeeze KdB, Messi, and Aguero into their teams will lead to some interesting midfield/defensive choicez

 

i may honestly just leave it - either that or see if I can get Werner in for Martial or something just for the first gameweek. Not sure I want to have to wait to get them back in if I subbed all of them out

My issue with FPL in addition to forgetting about it after the first week is I cannot bring myself to ever put a Liverpool or City player in my team.

 

If its a 100m and those two then I would do that deal every day of the week.

 

That's some highway robbery for the likes of Messi. Man City can really buy up just about everything, I guess they needed to buy the greatest player ever to win the European Cup.

 

This is how I feel about Spurs players haha. Luckily, there's at most one or two you ever need I guess.

 

Aubameyang is too good.

 

Seems Van de Beek is off to Barca. Shame. I would have thought he would be good for us.
