Plain and simple, a single injury to Rashford, Bruno, or Martial after the restart and we wouldn't have gotten top 4 last year. Which is honestly terrifying.

 

I genuinely thought with the signing of Bruno Fernandes, United were turning a corner when it came to transfer business.

Seems they've put all their attention into Sancho and nothing else.

 

I hoped that too, but when you think about it. He was available and almost asking for a transfer all last summer. We were interested in him all through January and signed him on the last day of the window after having an appalling month results wise.

 

We rejected their first offer. They need to up their bid by at least £5m.

I saw someone say this morning that apparently the Bruno signing came out of the summer transfer window budget, which is interesting. Just like our Board to say we've given you one player and you should be happy with it.

Just read the Maguire interview. That's quite a story he's claiming and a pretty incredible attempt at lying your way out of it if it's not true.

There he is! I know he's 35 but if he is good enough to play a CL final last week then he can certainly have a good impact in the PL still.

It's just kind of surreal. In rebuttal to Maguire's BBC interview, the Greek prosecutor has sounded off and it just all sounds really peculiar. Both sides seem to be claiming some bizarre things. Like, the Greek lawyer pointed out that the minibus was pulled over right next to the police station, so how could he not figure out it was the police (fair), but then also said that in a kidnapping situation it wouldn't make any sense to run away and call his agent for help and that leaving his friends and fiancé behind makes him a dishonourable man (strange).

Also, that he's fighting so hard against a suspended misdemeanour sentence seems peculiar too. I guess his legal team must think they can wriggle out of all the charges, but that seems a big gamble.

 

Considering he got away with NOT having to go to prison, surely he should really just be taking that and running, and then letting the story die down?

 

I suspect the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

 

I’m more annoyed at all these footballers and their entourages fucking off on their holidays like there isn’t still a global fecking pandemic.

 

GK is the only position for Manchester United have a quality bench. Seems like you’d want to address that.
