I'll probably end up with egg on my face, but Ferran is a good buy but he's not ready yet for a team like City. He needs a lot of work.

 

Grealish to United only made sense in a world where Villa went down and he became available for 35-40 million. Would’ve loved him as back up for Rashford and Bruno, but 80M on a bench player is a non starter.

 

Is Ake really a £41m player? I know he's a good passer, so should fit in well with City playing from the back, but Bournemouth have been woeful defensively over the past three years, (obviously not putting that all on Ake!) Seems like a crazy amount...

 

Believe he counts a homegrown player for the England requirement due to joining Chelsea at 16, think that adds to it. I also know Chelsea has an option on him as well and I think the club didn't want to deal with that either.
