Did Bournemouth think about just not being total shit all season?

    I think that would work.

Arsenal had a winning Chambers goal ruled out against Crystal Palace, and two red cards awarded due to VAR that other teams weren't punished for after similar challenges. Are we suing anyone? No.

Just accept you were bad and move on. It really annoys me that Bournemouth think they can do this to cover up for their continual failings to sign new players adequately and for consistently poor performances.

Villa themselves had a VAR goal ruled out for nothing much against Palace. That was at the end of the game as well, so much more likely cost them points. It's just an endlessly stupid argument.

Yeah Bournemouth have bigger issues. Such as still having £81 million of outstanding transfer fees to pay, and only have £4 million owed to them. Or none of their senior players having relegation wage cuts built into their contracts. Or having lost 22 games during the season.

They've been badly managed for years. They should just be grateful that Watford went through 4 managers in a year and Norwich were historically shite, or they'd be under a lot more scrutiny.

But the case has nothing to do with VAR or subjective decisions made by officials, it's about Hawkeye failing. So you're all making irrelevant arguments.

Hawkeye even admitted to the failure.

Bournemouth would be pointing the finger solely at themselves if the margins of their relegation couldn't literally be condensed right down to the impact of that one 100% clear goal not being given. Their 'one-in-9000' mistake has turned into a one-in-???? situation where the difference in their relegation + survival was exactly 1 point - a point that Hawkeye has effectively awarded their direct rival with their mistake!

They could have picked up points elsewhere to save themselves, but so could Villa/Watford/etc. That Villa finished 1 point better off when they realistically shouldn't is the reason Bournemouth should at least try to pursue something.

Valencia have financial issues thanks to Peter Lim being the biggest arsehole going.

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

I was never really that pissed last year when City went out due to VAR in Champions League.

I kept telling City fans that if we really think that team is as great as we say then the game shouldn't have come down to a call like that.

Don't be shit and (likely) shitty judgement calls won't be a factor.

This is fantastic. Obviously it's a simple decision though and I hope they show the conversations for tighter calls.

So far, so good from Brentford. Keep it up, Bees.

  16. Troy Parrott going on loan to Millwall looks to be done.

Oliver Skipp likely going to Fulham on loan.

    Both good moves imo

Brentford looked really good last night. Not seen much of them before but hoping they manage to get through the final. They look like a team that might have a shot at staying up.

They play good football and they're really well run. Can't guarantee they stay up with that defense(and a lot of their key players are pretty young and might not be experienced enough for a relegation fight, a little like Norwich), but if they could survive a season or two and get their feet under them I think they'd be a really good addition to the league. Really shoulda won automatic promotion, they bungled that pretty bad down the stretch, that's the one thing that would give me pause about them if they do manage to go up.

I can’t see Grealish moving this summer. 80m is the number in the press at the minute. I don’t think any team needs or even wants him for that much.

Delighted for them after that ridiculous red card in the first match.

Ake to City for £41m. Bournemouth can stop sueing people for some money now? Jk.

Been talking to a Villa friend about this. They obviously really don't want to see him go, but are resigned to it. I can't see who is going to stump up the money needed to get him right now. The clubs who could afford him in the Premier League at least don't really need him more than sorting out other positions.

    Could maybe go abroad?

we've been linked a lot, don't know about other clubs. But there's been a rumour going around that a deal was wrapped up months ago. but now this 80m stuff comes out. If that's the case, I hope we walk away
