I like that. If it wasn't a direct rival to my team, I'd probably buy that.

Yeah I love Paisley. It’s nice, it could be better though. There’s too much free space.

I mean, United getting 10m for doing nothing still seems good to me haha.

Proving the point about Lloris and Leno being amazing this season...

So apparently we ARE going to spend this summer and we want four players. Rumours I have seen:

    Targets:
    Zaha
    Partey
    Doucoure
    Edouard
    Szoboszlai
    Coutinho (loan)
    Ceballos (loan extension)

    Out (rumours):
    Lacazette (atletico/lyon)
    Maitland-Niles (Brighton)
    Holding (loan out)
    Nelson (Palace/loan out)
    Guendouzi

Can't wait to end up signing a midfielder from the french third tier and a German pensoner.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Pickford has been an absolute donkey by that measure as well. How has De Gea been getting burned so badly and Pickford is getting away with that? I know De Gea has made some really high profile mistakes, but Pickford has had a couple too. Standing behind the line trying to stop shots, being a personal favourite.

i tore a hole in the fabric of time Moderator

a drop in form from being the arguable best keeper in the world makes a good keeper look bad

De Gea has been poor outside of shot stopping too. He’s looked scared recently with regards to coming out. He’s still making a decent save or two pretty much every match but his mistakes are highlighted because of how good he was.

We would actually have the best defence in the league if you took out De Gea’s howlers. That’s crazy.

Something that has been bugging me this season is De Gea's distribution/ ball playing. I swear when LvG was manager, De Gea's ball playing was great, or at least he was one of the better keepers in the league at it.

Now he looks worse than the average keeper at least at it. Is it that he's regressed there too, or is it just that the average has improved a fair between in the intervening years, which makes De Gea look worse by comparison?

Oh yeah his kicking and decision making has been horrendous. The first Southampton goal I pin on him, not Pogba. There’s no way he should have been making a lax pass to the edge of the box while Pogba was covered by the Southampton player.

DDG’s ball playing and distribution has been dog shit the second Mourinho walked in the door.

  16. The resurgence of Hugo has been massive. It’ll save us a lot of money this window because I think the club was seriously considering parting ways. But he’s been phenomenal in the last part of the season. Jose’s style of play and the improvement of the CBs accordingly have certainly helped Hugo, but he’s still made a lot of terrific saves himself.

I can remember when I used to worry about apparent Chelsea interest in Pickford. Gone are those days.

  20. Callum Wilson rumored to be going for £10m is such a steal. Hopefully Spurs make the call but I’d imagine we’d be facing competition from the rest of the bigs clubs.

  21. I get their frustration, but every team has examples of this. Spurs have had 2-3 terrible VAR decisions that resulted in them losing points. We could sue and say we’d be in the top 4 race if they got it right.

I don't think any other team had an example of a goal not being given when it was over the line?

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Should've won more games. simple as that. Suing over that is laughable.

  24. I mean, technically yes this did happen to most teams. Goals were scored and taken away by questionable replay decisions.

I know this example is a little different and more blatant, but I still think it's silly to make it a lawsuit. While it sucks, these things happen in sports. They had an entire season of their own mistakes but they're using one technological mistake as a scapegoat.

A techinical failure cost them £100m, sue the league and bankrupt them.
