So much disheartening stuff happened last night lol - Liverpool & Leeds lifting their trophies, West Ham assuring their safety (without beating United and doing CFC a favour), CFC letting themselves down (mainly defence/GK), West Brom getting promotion over Brentford, Forest missing out on the playoffs thanks to Stoke, Wigan and Charlton going down. Too much all at once.

It appears everyone loves Brentford who sadly have to lose to my dear Swansea

I want any one of the playoff teams up, except Cardiff.

I wonder how Wigan's appeal will go. They've been royally shafted by the football league and then punished for it too.

I would like Fulham to go up, purely because seeing Mitro elbow everyone in the face next year will be a true joy.

I'm also on the "anyone but Cardiff" side. Would prefer Brentford but have a feeling Fulham will be the ones to win it.

No. 1904 FC is funded by Demba Ba and Eden Hazard.

Donovan is manager/exec VP/owner of San Diego Loyal. Warren Smith is also behind the club.

  11. Dybala is so good. Levy is an asshole. Just pay whatever that stupid rights fee was. His arrival could’ve changed so many things about this season.

  15. What the hell just happened in this Lazio game

Dude had a free kick and hit a beautiful shot that went it, but it was called off because someone had to touch it to him first? I’m not sure the rule but they called it off and the dude was mad.

    Taken from Reddit -

For people wondering: the goal is disalllowed because an indirect free kick was given. On an indirect free kick you're not allowed to score without a touch.

The reason for the indirect free kick is because of the foul in question. There was no contact but still a foul by playing with a high feet.

Edit: interestingly from those comments, it seems that if the keeper had touched it or if another player had touched it on its way in, it would have counted as the goal wouldn't have come directly from the free kick.

Imagine how much more interesting this sport would be if teams like Juventus and Bayern and PSG weren't walking their leagues every year. Not sure what the fix is, it's a bit like the issue F1 has with Mercedes where it's more money and being better run, so it's hard to know how to solve it. But it would be nice to see those leagues have some new winners.

I think it would be nicer with a plain white side panel and collar. But I hope we get a black keepers kit.

I can't see Bielsa signing him.

Apart from maybe that Wolves team from a couple of years ago I've not seen this much excitement over a new team in the premier league in a long, long time.

It's so good to have Leeds back.

I mean, he's been good. But the best in the league? Better than Mane? Or Trent?

    Nah.
