Minted Charlotte Football Club 2022 is some name for a team

 

ooh i like the secondary letters a lot too

 

Keeping the color scheme the same as another franchise is smart so that way all their gear will always go together, but still very much against Major League Soccer teams using FC.

 

I think “Soccer Club” would be cool but it’s specifically confusing for Charlotte considering South Carolina is next door.

 

it looks a lot like the Rangers scroll crest

But Charlotte SC would be so frustrating because then everyone would think I live in South Carolina haha

Also, Panthers going by Carolina instead of Charlotte makes the two very different

 

Iffy on the name good choice on the colors

 

I preferred Charlotte Athletic but Charlotte FC was the popular choice among fans

 

It’s all dumb. US sports names are all over the place some use a city some a state some just a general area. Some use two nicknames.

 

That Cresswell ball deserved some sort of connection.

 

As an outsider, it’s interesting to watch a club be created from the ground up.

closest thing I have seen is AFC Rushden & Diamonds which is local to me, but that obviously came about from a club that went bust.

This 'new' Man United missing out on Champions League would be quite funny.

 

Fosu-Mensah and Wan-Bissaka having epic ass fantasy names but then also being "Tim" and "Aaron" is super disappointing.
