From what I've seen of him, he'd just be another slow, pedestrian midfielder. We already had Schneiderlin for that and now it seems Gomes is that, too. If you have another take, please share it.

 

Totally agree. People massively underrate the DM position in general. Having even an average one over a bad or nonexistent one is a massive, massive positive.
