Messi's been playing false 9 behind Griez/Suarez the last two games and it's been downright tasty

  2. The tweet was Lautardo being close to a move to Barca

It appears Adama Traore will miss out against us this weekend. Hopefully that's true because he tore Digne to bits in the reverse fixture. Oh, and his link up play with Jimenez has caused many a team problems this season.

I've been seeing a lot of Traore to PSG rumors this week.

Interesting post I saw regarding number of penalties over the last few seasons... upload_2020-7-10_23-1-3.png

I can’t remember last season’s penalties but the one against Villa was the only one this seasons that shouldn’t have been a penalty. Still can’t get over that decision.

The thing about United's penalties is yes we've had a lot by anyone's standards, but almost every single one has been a legitimately called foul. Annoyingly the one at Villa is almost the exception that proves the rule. That's the first incorrect call that we've benefitted from that I can recall this season at least (I'm sure there's a couple of others, but I'm drawing a blank).

It's just a symptom of us managing to play some slick stuff in the box these days, and some weirdly uncharacteristicly consistent refereeing.

Yeah, I don't think you get penalties that you shouldn't (although I do think some teams consistently don't get them), I think it's just interesting. Burnley and Everton only getting one this season is mad.

Newcastle too. We’ve had our fair share of luck from referees this year though. Maguire against Chelsea being a huge one.

This just tells me that the rest of the league doesn’t have enough quality touches In the box

I mean surely that has to be somewhat of a factor, right?

I don’t know, we were utterly atrocious at that last season but still god a high amount of them.

The style of play and amount of time in the opposition box has to factor into it. If you look at Palace's number for 18/19, that coincides with Zaha having a particularly strong season I think. I wonder just how many of those 11 were him.

Meanwhile at Newcastle, you can let our forwards run around in your box all day and not worry too much about conceding. It's our defenders you need to be scared of. :crylaugh:

I hope this one isn't another shit-bag putting together a hoax. It worries me that given how publicly available players are now with social media and all the rest, that gay players are still afraid to come out. What on earth is happening out of the public eye for them all to be staying quiet and their team-mates to also be keeping the secret (because there must be some who are known to other players, surely?).

please don’t let Chelsea get him too haha

What I would give for Leeds to lose their next two matches and Brentford to go up automatically

  24. they’re within two points of West Brom now

I’m assuming if Brentford is promoted that they wouldn’t sell Benrahma, right?

    @fangclubb Prestigious

Nah they probably will. Their transfer approach is very numbers focused.
