Love Max Aarons. This he would have been a great buy for us had we not gone for AWB.

I like Cantwell a lot too, but think I prefer Buendia. Both would be great Pereira/Lingard replacements, but I don't think either would be happy to play a backup role.

That is atrocious IMO - looks like a training kit yet they'll sell it for £80+. Nike are the most overhyped, overrated company going.

Edit: My bad, did not see the above post!

I actually quite like that, it's similar to an England home shirt from a few years ago with the blue rounded collar. The sponsor seems fine too. I like that's it's see through. Nothing worse than sponsors being a huge block of random colour (see Dortmund's shirt also released today, or any United shirt since Chevrolet started sponsoring us).

It's kinda basic, but better than those copy and paste template Nike shirts every team seemed to have a few years ago.

Nike ones have been copy & paste templates for several years but they will do a couple different templates so it looks like they aren't just "phoning it in". There's a zig-zag striped one they are doing for AZ Alkmaar, Brighton and a few others that's a bit better but still looks like a training top:

    hmmm

I refuse to criticise any other kits while Man City go around in that horrendous yellow-pink fade kit.

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

They are the absolute worse. The third shirt for 20/21 isn't looking too great either

There's a reason Arsenal got rid of Nike. Their kits all suck.

That’s the Nigeria template from a bit back.

So many good ones in there but the top 5 were a bit weak imo! That Bayern kit (No.62) is probably my fav out of all those, Fiorentina's Nintendo one (No.87) and the blue United away one (No.22) are great too.

The Peru one deserves top 5 I think. But the England (10) and Arsenal (7) ones are just nostalgia. There's far better down the list.

The boca junior kit from 14 is one of my favorites, just a great shade of blue, their crest is timeless, has the henly collar. Just a beaut. Crazy how baggy things use to be, as opposed to the puma skin tight kits nowadays.

Gordon doing bits already. Lovely assist. Oh, and thank God the Leicester clean sheet has gone.

Why did they need so long to give that penalty?

  20. Spurs are being linked to Timothy Castagne as their new RB. Anyone here know about him?

    Nice Pickford point blank save.

  22. It’s crazy to think how different things would’ve been had the Dybala deal gone through. If I remember correctly, we had an agreement with the player and club, but there was some issue with his likeness license. We’d have to pay another 15m or so to gain rights to his likeness. So dumb.

But looking back, it totally would’ve been worth it.

It’s well reported Poch was being an asshole all summer and until he was fired. It sounded like he was burnt out and then frustrated at not getting enough in the window. Adding Dybala could’ve fixed that attitude. He’d finally be heavily backed and getting a fellow Argentine.

On the field, we would’ve been stacked in the attack. The players were down mentally after CL. Just like with Poch, I think getting a star to help you out would boost your morale quite a bit.

I’d imagine we’d at least be top 5 and probably in CL quarters. Poch would still be here (and the amount we paid to sack him is probably similar to Dybala’s likeness thing).

But the documentary wouldn’t be as good.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

The Dybala drama forever will make me so god damn sad. We were so close. Fucking imaging rights. Should've just paid for them and moved on.

  24. Think about how much we had to pay Poch to fire him + the insane salary we gave Jose. There’s no way the imaging rights were more than that. Very frustrating.

Poor goal to concede. Rare Holgate mistake. Oh, and now Richarlison is injured. Fuck.
