Regardless of the score Ole needs to go. This isn’t as bad as the Sheffield United game, but that’s only because they’re a better team than Villa. The second half of the first half was absolutely painful to watch even though we scored.

2-1 time to make a sub and sit back.

lol we didn’t even get a chance to sit back 2-2 maybe. VAR check.

I don’t even know what result or performance could get ole sacked at this point.

No idea. Like Astana was our first loss in a while but every single game you expect us to lose or draw. The football is just anemic.

  7. 5th and 16th only separated by 5 points lol

Explains how Spurs moved up 11 spots in just a week.

  9. I think it’s that combined with teams like Leicester, Wolves, Sheffield all being good.

Messi and Rapinoe win the Balon d’Or.

Good for Messi who is ever impressive but I was hoping Van Dijk would be the first defender since 2006 to win.

I think Liverpool have shipped too many goals for that this season. He's still great, but it doesn't help his cause that they're barely keeping clean sheets.

    hmmm

On individual merit I think Messi should probably have won every Balon d'Or since his first one. Van Dijk getting second is a huge achievement.

The whole thing's kind of a joke really anyway. A weird popularity contest, with all sorts of biases tied up in the voting and where it's not fully clear what is actually being voted for - the best individual, the biggest impact, the best player of the best team? It's best not to get too wrapped up in it.

You just know Mourinho is going to be looking to inflict a really punishing defeat.

"You wanted entertaining football, now lap it up."

Although, if his personal problems with some of the players are as bad as were being reported, the United players might turn it on for this game.

  21. I saw Mahrez finished 10th in voting. Seems crazy to me but I haven’t watched a ton of City games.

    What an unexpectedly brilliant stat:

"Crystal Palace have 15 Premier League wins in this calendar year. The Eagles have now won more PL matches in 2019 than Arsenal (14), Manchester United (13) and Tottenham Hotspur (13)."
