Messi's 700th game for Barcelona. Hope it's a classic.

 

Chelsea very lucky to escape with a draw there, haven't seen a team as bad in front of goal as Valencia in some time.

 

Barcelona won the La Liga match 5-2 earlier this season, but before the first Barca goal, Valencia's De Jong missed a hat trick of tap ins in spectacular fashion. Valencia should've been up 3-0 within like fifteen minutes.

 

They missed 2 or 3 tap-ins this game too, literally miskicked them both in such a way it made you think how does a professional striker fuck up a chance like that so badly.

 

Rakitic looks up to making a statement to Valverde to play more tonight. Spotted an absurd cross field pass and hit it with the outside of his boot.

 

Dortmund are going through such a trash heap of run that it makes our trash heap of play look brilliant. 2-0.

Pulisic-Abraham-Willian has become quite the front line for Chelsea over the last month.

Willian is still so frustrating though, so many attacking moves break down due to his indecision with the ball. If Jadon Sancho is really set on leaving BVB then Chelsea have to try for him, especially as he has admitted he is a CFC fan and his family & advisors have been quoted saying they would be an 'ideal' destination for him.

 

Sancho was fantastic for Dortmund last night after he subbed on. I’m VERY curious what Favre meant by saying “he’s too unfocused to start” and Jason saying “I’m forbidden to speak” as he passed journalists last night.

He’d make Chelsea an even younger team. Pretty crazy how well they’ve lined up young talent over the last few windows.

 

Rumour is that Arsenal might line up Nuno from Wolves if (let's be honest, when) they sack Emery. Guess that's quite a compliment for him, but actually think he might be better sticking with Wolves to the end of this season at least.

I'm not a United fan of course, but I genuinely don't recognise half those names. That's an awesome thing though, they get to play in Europe for Man United today.

Guessing United already qualified for the knockouts thus fielding this?

 

We’re qualified but not sure of top of the group. It’s also an artificial surface so I assume Ole wants to avoid any and all injuries considering our players are made of paper.

 

Emery finally gone. Be interesting to see what happens now. Could see there being a bit of a bounce for sure.
