Said it about Qatar and I'll say it again about Saudi, of all the complaints about the World Cup being held there, "winter rather than summer" is extremely far down my list of concerns.

My way of looking at it is that it's not even remotely surprising that FIFA will just ignore moral concerns, but it still surprises me that they're happy to ignore practical problems which will be detrimental to the game itself. I'm sure that won't last much longer.

Contained within the game itself, the amount of injuries that came out of the last winter World Cup should also be enough to stop it as well

Considering how bad the bottom four are, I think it’s possible that a team gets incredibly few points yet survives this year. Perhaps even the record.

It'll be Everton post points deduction *taps nose*

It's so weird that kits are something professional teams can't get right in this day and age. There's been complaints from a number of Castore supplied teams that they're utter crap as well. Apparently they really hold onto moisture, so they look wet and feel horrible and heavy.

I can buy moisture wicking shirts for running in for like £20, so how is a professional team picking a supplier who can't manage to make something at least that good?

That’s the problem Aston Villa have had, right? Their shirts end up looking totally wet, and the women’s team have made complaints about them.

Yup. Same for Newcastle and I think Wolves too.

Wow! Good opportunity (again) for Nketia. Coming off that hat-trick last weekend, I bet he's pumped for the chance.

I know it’s a highly rotated side, but we’ve been shit.

Don't trust us not to shit the bed in the second half. United have some very good options on the bench and we've played a bunch of babies, players who aren't yet match fit and Matt Ritchie.

Onana (Everton's one not United's) has been great since Gana was dropped. Perhaps he was being shackled all along!

Is Nathan Redmond a "Yakubu 29"? Dude has been around forever.

Very much looked like a team who just weren’t that bothered tonight.

We were unlucky. The opener was an own goal that should have been disallowed for a foul on the keeper, and the third was hugely deflected. But we didn’t deserve to win, and West Ham did. A real shame that the normally-bench players looked so poor today.

Can’t believe it happened after scoring first. Where was Mazraoui? Where was Kane? Like, wtf is Tuchel doing?
